FUTSAL is 5v5 Soccer on a hard small court, usually a basketball court and is played with a weighted ball. Player must play in the lines, the ball moves quickly and all players are in constant motion.
Futsal is by far the best way to develop soccer skills, as well as the young athlete.
Futsal naturally helps develop skills required for soccer: balance, motor ability, agility and co-ordination, ball mastery, accurate and quick passing and receiving, perception insight and awareness. Children learn skills through repetition, especially when they practice in tight areas while under pressure. This occurs naturally in futsal since it is fast and action packed. We find children love playing futsal: it is exciting because players touch the ball more than twice as often as in typical soccer, and many goals are scored. In addition, the game does not have complex rules for off-side, throw-ins, etc.
Children learn much faster when they enjoy the game and spend a lot of time with the ball at their feet. This happens in futsal.
